Last month, at our annual awards banquet, one of our special recipients was unable to attend.

McKenzie Duhaime was recognized as our Rookie of the Year. Since joining the Squad, she has worked diligently to earn her EMT certification and has volunteered above and beyond the minimum hours. It's not unusual to see her working on the ambulances for 50 hours in a month.

She has demonstrated herself to be a valuable member of the team and shifts that she crews. She is cheerful, helpful, and eager to assist under all circumstances. She will be an outstanding Attendant-in-Charge.

McKenzie, congratulations! We apologize for the tardiness of this well-deserved recognition. You are a pleasure to work with every shift!
